PREVIOUSLY RESTORED 1963 DB4 S5 AND STILL HIGHLY ORIGINAL 1954 DB2/4 Mk1 HEAD H&H £771K+ RESULTS IN PEAK DISTRICT

Although H&H's latest catalogue cover 1936 Jaguar SS100 failed to sell at Buxton for the £170,000 or more being sought, a less than forecast £103,400 was accepted for a 1963 Aston Martin DB4 Series 5 Coupe and an unmolested 1954 DB2/4 Mk1 Fixed Head for improvement from the same marque was taken on for £72,600, considerably more than the guide price. A Barn Discovered 1936 Lagonda LG45 Pillarless-Salon that had been nowhere for the past 30 years found £28,600. The latest E Type prices paid here were a 1964 Series 1 3.8 Roadster restored in 1996 sold for £45,100, the lower estimate, and a former Maltese resident and previously repainted ...
